Kingdom Death: Let's build the Winter Solstice Lucy models!
79Another day, another Kingdom Death unboxing. Hopefully this will tide me over until the pinups arrive. I may even have to finally unbox the original pinups of death, that's sat on the shelf for I don't know how many years now!
I had a hell of a time with gaming- size Lucy's head. It didn't want to sit flush on her neck! I tried a variety of sequences of attaching the shoulder and head parts, but nothing seemed to get them to sit correctly. Everything else was smooth and intuitive! Just the damned head!
Big pinup Lucy is the first big pinup that's actually standing up, as far as I can recall. Model has a good weight to it and everything other than the spikes on the lantern made logical sense in how it fit together.
Also noticed that the model's got actua pupils molded in her eyes. Can't remember seeing that before.
I was worried about the ribbons on both models, but there's little notches around the waist for the parts to fit in and connect with the star ornament.
The gaming Lucy's axe arm is mislabeled- I panicked thinking I dropped it at first, as I cut out all the smaller model's parts first. Don't make my mistake!
