Kingdom Death: White Speaker Sword Hunter unboxed and built!
70Time to compare the original resin with the new plastic!
The Sword Hunter was the first Kingdom Death resin model I ever built and painted. My how the time flies- that was at least a good five years ago, if not more!
So now we have an updated plastic version of that very same model. For one thing, the new one is a lot taller and builds on the original's proportions- not that they were bad for say, this one is just scaled up and a whole lot sharper (both her blades and overall detail).
She's also blindfolded now. Was the original? It's been a while and I've forgotten. She's also better posed now and is able to actually support her own weight on her base (unlike mine who's glued to her own sword for balance).
Only real issue I had was lining up all her swords on her back. They stack up and support the larger sword's hilt, which then slides into a notch on the back of her hair. Her Excalibur had a very small contact point between blade and hilt, so be careful there!
Being a plastic model I'm sure she'll be rotated through stock regularly on the Kingdom Death website, so patience is your friend if you want to get one direct from the source.
