Kingdom Hearts 1 FM (PS4): Part 11: Bitter Vibes in the Deep Jungle
14Time to go to the third world beyond Traverse Town, but it's a bit of a trek to get there. You must first either take the Gummi Ship routes to either Wonderland or Olympus Coliseum, and then go beyond those worlds to reach this next one. This next world is the Deep Jungle, based on Disney's Tarzan. As such, it is clearly in Africa.
However... when the Traveling Trio first stop at this world, things get a little bit shaky...
Goofy was curious to see if King Mickey was somewhere in this world, but Donald didn't think so and planned to pass it by. However, Sora then chimed in and wondered if Riku and Kairi could be in this world, but Donald still refused to budge.
They got into an argument, and ended up causing their Gummi Ship to shake and drop them into different areas of the Deep Jungle. Not looking good for their still-fledging teamwork...

Sora falls into a massive treehouse, one that looks completely abandoned, as if its owners had just... vanished...
He is then suddenly attacked by a wild and ferocious leopard. Just like your first fight against Leon, the story continues on whether you beat this leopard, or the leopard beats you.
After the fight, the leopard tries to pounce at Sora one last time, until it is stopped by a limber man with long hair, wearing only a loincloth. He forced the leopard away after it gazed at the man's spear...
This man is known as Tarzan, and the leopard both his and Sora fought is named Sabor. Although Tarzan is human, he can't talk to humans very well, so it took a bit of work for Sora to explain how he was looking for his friends... specifically Riku & Kairi... He was still upset over his argument with Donald.
Tarzan would try to help, while also saying some strange word that's written as "*&&X%".
Speaking of which, Donald & Goofy landed somewhere else, and Donald was likewise ready to abandon Sora and continue his and Goofy's search for their king. They were then spooked by the sudden appearance of a young gorilla, and then afterwards, a man with a shotgun...

There are different ways to make it to the lower areas of this world, so you can explore and experiment with how you do that. The main thing you have to do with Sora and Tarzan is to go inside the Tent at the Camp
A lot of this video has me struggling to use the vines, so skip ahead of them in this video if you want.
While I'm in the Camp, though, I collect 5 Slides. These will be useful very soon.

After entering the Camp, Sora meets a woman named Jane. She's one of Tarzan's friends.
The shotgun man named Clayton then joins in, and he brought Donald and Goofy with him. The duck and Sora were still on bad terms like before... Tarzan and Jane also didn't like that Clayton hunts gorillas.
After Goofy shows Sora a Gummi, Donald now believes that King Mickey was in this world, however, he continues to be reluctant of working with Sora to find him.

With the Traveling Trio back together (for now, I guess) you must still only have 3 characters in your party. In Deep Jungle's case, you can swap out either Donald or Goofy for Tarzan, and take advantage of his own attacks and abilities, such as the Refreshing Herb, which can heal his allies and himself in a pinch.
You can switch party members at any Save Point within that world, but you can't take the 4th member into other worlds. You also must have Donald & Goofy with Sora if you want to use Trinities.
There will also be more times where you get to fight Sabor.
Again, most of my vine-swinging adventures is at 18:25 - 24:50. I recommend you skip ahead of that.

Talk to Jane after getting the 5 Slides, and she'll display them through a projector to see if any of them could match with Tarzan's "*&&X%" word. Sora sees a castle from one of them and somehow recognizes it.
It didn't seem to work to help Tarzan know where Sora's missing friends are. That's when Clayton steps in, demanding Tarzan to take him to his gorilla family to see if Sora's friends are with them. Tarzan decides to agree, and tries to find his gorilla leader, Kerchak, in the vines.
Later on, Sora & Tarzan find Kerchak. We see here that he's speaking full English to him, but the truth is that he's speaking gorilla; no one else can still understand him.
Tarzan begged for Kerchak to allow Sora and his friends to enter their nesting grounds, but he refused, and headed for the treehouse.

At the treehouse, Terk, was playing inside, and Clayton almost shot her dead! Luckily, Donald stopped him in time, but this was still enough for Kerchak to witness and leave with Terk, upset with Tarzan for trusting other humans.
Back at the camp, Jane was FURIOUS with Clayton trying to kill a gorilla, and banned him from ever getting close to them again. This was enough for Clayton to finally drop his charade and swear to hunt every last gorilla he could find.
But then... something was now hunting for him...
