Due to this world's reliance on the Gigas, there isn't a lot to show for many of the mob fights. This is the only normal mob fight in this world so this is all I am doing for now. I do eventually want to do the Gigas fights without a Gigas but doing so is extremely difficult and will take me a while.
This is one of the tougher fights to get through without taking damage. Nowhere is safe, the Toy Soldiers have homing projectiles and the spellcasters can fly to your location from anywhere. You can't even reliably guard because the Toy Soldiers have a dive kick that breaks you guard.
As soon as the fight starts, can use Cure to boost your situation gauge. While you can fill you gauge by using magic until your in charge, fights like there you might not have the time to use them it can be better to just waste it all on a Cure so you can get Critical Recharger. There is an ability later that makes this even better but I will get to that in a later video.
Since I wanted to be as safe as possible, I spent the start of the fight building up my forms for both keyblades. Once the spellcasters spawn, you can infinitely air step into them. The spellcasters are treated as vertical poles so you can Buzzsaw off them even if there are no enemies around them and this is very useful. Once you get Magic Launcher, air step down to a group of enemies and nuke them with the finisher point blank.
