A couple of things:

That 3 hit whip attack is VERY HARD to block, but it is blockable, I just couldn't do it on camera.

It seems he almost never stops attacking, but there are moments where you can get a few good counter hits in. I chose not to do any finishers because...well, I can.

This was done on level 99 with a defense stat of 171. Sora has enough power naturally, but he has pitiful defense. Synthesize 100 defense boosts and that remedies this problem. Ribbons also help.

Apparently Young Xehanort can turn back the hands of time and heal himself, but you can interrupt this with a Thundaga spell apparently.
