One thing some people probably don't know is that there's a couple alternate scenes in Kingdom Hearts for going off the beaten path, some are more known than others and some don't have too drastic differences.

In order to trigger the alternate Monstro Scenes, you must leave Monstro and beat Neverland before going back to Monstro, I went back after I beat Dragon Maleficent just in case. The alternate Monstro scenes are a truly bizarre circumstance.
