There are a total of five Superbosses in this game, and some are more challenging than others. The standouts in terms of difficulty being Sephiroth and Unknown, who's harder depends on who you ask, but I'd probably say Unknown is a good escalation in terms of difficulty and a good addition as a boss battle, a little challenging but manageable.

As far as Kurt Zisa goes, I'd personally say he's one of the easier superbosses but he's still fun, Phantom and the Ice Titan though are somewhat time consuming more than difficult, but the Ice Titan is affected by Gravity so that helps speed up the battle if you time it right.

In this playthrough I basically handicapped myself by using only the Kingdom Key throughout, but if you use a high deflection keychain like Olympia, Divine Rose, Three Wishes, or Ultima Weapon then you can get an opening for a counterattack just as Unknown's lightsaber combo ends.

If you're having trouble against Kurt Zisa or Unknown then I recommend using Tinker Bell if it's your first time with those two bosses as she heals your HP over time and should you die she brings you back with Auto-Life, you can't summon Tinker Bell again in the same battle if she goes away as that's how Summons work.
