Sora, the Beast and the others arrive outside, but don't see Xaldin anywhere. Goofy looks up to the castle balcony and sees Belle, then waves to her. Belle quickly gets out of sight, but sees the rose laying on the balcony and calls out to Beast that she has to rose. Suddenly, Xaldin apprehends her, and leaps across to the bridge as the Beast pursuits him. The Beast commands Xaldin to leave, and he will gladly. But he likes to travel light, asking what should be left behind: Belle or the rose. Beast calls out for Belle and charges, then Belle takes advantage of the moment and elbows Xaldin, grabs the rose and hurries off. The group then attacks Xaldin as he summons his spears.

The battle against Xaldin can be difficult. The key is to avoid his attacks when he leaps into the air or charges by jumping or running, then using "Learn" as rapidly as possible to stock as many Jumps as you can. Once he stops moving, unleash all your Jumps at once to deal heavy damage. Also remember how the first time through Beast's Castle, Antiform ended up dominating the boss? Yeah, I think it came back to haunt me here... When Xaldin twirls his spears around, back off because it will be progressively longer. He will then ride his spears and fire a cannon that sweeps the entire bridge. Your best bet is to stand as far on the right as possible to take minimal damage. Keep avoiding the attacks and use "Learn" and Jump for your main attacks, and defeat him for a bonus level-up.

Bonus Level-Up 33:
Sora - Maximum HP Increased (+5, new total 90), Reflect Element (Reflect is upgraded to Reflera, 10 MP)
Donald - Auto Healing (Ability, 3 AP)
Goofy - Maximum HP Increased (+5, new total 80)
Beast - Maximum HP Increased (+25, new total 100)

Xaldin vanishes before them in a glow of darkness, defeated. Belle gives Beast the rose back, and the Beast starts to say something. Belle knows he still wants her to leave the castle, but the Beast says that Belle was not hurt by Xaldin, and that's what matters. He thanks Belle for bringing the rose back, and she says it's the least she could do for being nice to her when he didn't need to. Everyone encourages the Beast as he nervously asks for Belle to stay in the castle with him, and she gladly will. Then everyone watches as they dance into the night, knowing the were meant for each other.

When Sora and the rest arrive back on the Gummi Ship, Chip says that he picked up a strange reading. It's fuzzy, and Dale thinks it's just a glitch, but Chip thinks otherwise... Before moving on, though, you can equip everything lucky you have (At this point, it should be the Lucky Ring, Goofy's Lucky Lucky ability, the Sweet Memories Keyblade, and depending on your level-up route and current level, maybe Sora's Lucky Lucky ability). Then fight the Dragoons (the lance Nobodies) in everywhere that's not the west wing of the castle. Since the rooms will randomly have Heartless and Nobodies, keep entering and exiting until the Nobodies appear. Fight them until one drops the Nobody Lance (Attack 5, Magic 5, Defender), the best non-synthesized weapon possible for Donald.
