This is video #58 in my playthrough of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded for the Nintendo DS.

Previously, Data-Sora began the postgame System Sector in Hollow Bastion's Entrance Hall (UL). He has made it through the first eleven floors.

He resumes on the twelfth floor. The challenge is to defeat the Eliminator. I found ten bug baddies spread across three rooms: Wizards and Wyverns. The Wizards' magic can do a TON of damage. Also, look out for clusters of Angel Stars. The Eliminator itself is a pretty tough customer, especially with the status ailments it can inflict.

Sora gains another Level Up chip while on this floor (time 8:52). Installing it, he jumps to Level 77.

Before moving on to the last floor, Sora should make any preparations he needs to (time 15:56). He will not have the opportunity to do so when he gets there. The Heat Sink Belt and the Liberty Crown will counter the two status ailments Sora can get hit with: Clock Rewind and Command Lock. The Eternity Charm and the Immortal Charm will also help his survivability a great deal. To top it off, he can max out his clock level beforehand.

When he's ready, Sora takes the link to the thirteenth floor (time 17:00). This is a one-room floor. The challenge is to use a Finish command in under 60 seconds. Easy if you prepared before going. There is one bug baddy: the Buggy Roxas. He's very similar to the "mysterious" enemy fought at the end of the game. However, he's a lot stronger, and as the battle progresses, he will change. When a couple of his life bars are gone, he will turn yellow and get faster. He will be come red and stronger when he has just over three life bars remaining. He may seem to run out of steam. But when he is down to his last life bar, he will become a giant. Without the Eternity Charm, his light show may kill Sora outright.

When this foe is defeated, Sora uses the terminal to exit the System Sector (time 23:06). About time! Fortunately, Sora has the SP to pick up all the one-time abilities: the Ultima Weapon Keyblade, a Debug Device: Y, and a Lucky Strike. How nice of them to make the Ultima Weapon available after you really need it. Several stat chips are available in multiples: HP +4, Strength +2, Magic +2, Defense +2, Fire +2, Blizzard +2, Thunder +2, Aero +2, Cure +2, Fire Resistance +2, Blizzard Resistance +2, Thunder Resistance +2, and Aero Resistance +2. That should help us fill out the stat matrix. Sora also grabs an Icicle Mine and Flame Fall.

Sora returns to Castle Oblivion (time 25:20). When he arrives, he checks his Trophies. For clearing all the System Sectors in the game, he earns the Sector Sweeper trophy and earns another Trophy Chip. For earning 20 trophies, he earns King Mickey B's Shoes. The secret movie, "Signs of What's Next", becomes available in the Theater.

At the Moogle Shop, he picks up the Debug Device: Y for sale (time 26:07). Only one is available.

Then, Sora works on completing the Stat Matrix (time 26:19). He blows up the Bug Chip: Y between CPU 4 and CPU 9 and activates dual-processing between them. To the lower-left of CPU 4, he unlocks the second and final Glide ability. This powers up Glide and raises it to Level 2. Then, he blasts the Bug Chip: Y between CPU 7 and CPU 8, activating dual-processing between them in the process. To the right of CPU 1, he also unlocks his third and last Combo Plus, raising it to Level 3.

He checks his Trophies again (time 28:52). He earns the Sultan of Slot trophy for installing chips in every slot in the Stat Matrix. He acquires another Trophy Chip, which he promptly installs.

After saving the game, we return to the title screen (time 29:40). Then, under Theater, we view the secret movie, "Signs of What's Next" (time 29:47). At the Mysterious Tower, we spy on a scene between King Mickey and Yen Sid. Their conversation alludes to events not only in the main numbered games but also in Birth by Sleep. Yen Sid's instructions lead directly to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

This concludes my playthrough of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. I hope you have enjoyed it. I've actually enjoyed replaying it more than I thought I would. Probably because I went through it stronger than I did before.

Thank you for watching!
