In the final quest in the Belen's Testament sub-plot you return to the Tomb of Fyragnos with the whole crew, to defeat the soon to be summoned Niskaru Lord. Afterwards I explore more of the area, completing the Red Marches Lorestone set, which gets me a 20% increase in burning duration. Buffs like that are always good for my staff, which will remain primarily fire based for the whole game. I decided to keep the staff fire, the bow ice and my most damaging spell lightning, just so I could cover all three elements. The bow and staff also have piercing, physical, poison and (later on) bleeding damage covered. Speaking of which I decide to do some more blacksmithing after leaving the Red Marches. I end up using the Arch Sage quarters for it's handy close proximity facilities. I craft a new bow, with more damage, and put the 20% day / night damage gems from the old bow into my talisman so I don't lose that buff. It does mean I lose the mana and health from the talisman but that's OK as they're both doing fine and I'd sooner have the damage. Then freshly prepared for what lies in store at Klurikon I go back to Mel Senshir to begin the next main quest.
