WOOSH. The only sound options are off/on.
This is the fan translation of the original King’s Field.
This is segmented and edited. I’m using a widescreen hack and PGXP.

Notes
This is not a blind recording. This is a planned and practiced playthrough of the game. That said, it’s not perfect and I do some things that aren’t necessary or are just simply inefficient, because some parts of the game are a mystery. This is still one of the fastest not-a-speedrun playthroughs you’ll find on Youtube, though.

On floor 3, I immediately beeline toward the Triple Fang. This is because it grants health and mana regen and you can see how hard it trivialize enemies once I have it.

In order to acquire the Moonlight Sword, the player must speak to the fairy on floor 2, loot the Dragon Sword on floor 4, and then speak to the fairy on floor 5. It seems like acquiring the Moonlight Sword is the trigger for the dragon sealed rooms.

The Moonlight Sword has a special ability that requires 80 strength/magic to activate and there’s no way a player will reach this requirement without grinding. So, once I get the Moonlight Sword, I go back through the previous areas to loot the dragon sealed rooms, pick up verdite to increase magic and then proceed to grind off-screen using the infinitely spawning golems on floor 4.

Why the golems and not the spiders on floor 1 as is commonly recommended? The golems give significantly more XP per kill and leveling up gives you a +2 to both strength and magic. You could hit spiders 1000+ times, if you really want to, but that sounds like a misery to me when compared to maybe like 20 minutes of smacking golems.

This stuff is optional, though. You can easily just kill the final boss by spamming magic and dragon tree fruits. I guess the dialogue with the boss changes if you have the sword but it doesn’t alter the ending.
