2A fantasy shmup....OK, I have seen that before on the GB, but this one definitely predates it. There's something interesting about this game, though. Is it how terrible the game is? Well, yes, but that's what makes the interesting part actually interesting. It says Square, and you'd think "OK, the studio did that." and you'd be half right. It was literally the Final Fantasy team. They went from this to FF. That is quite the leap and it explains why "Final" was the chosen word is the legend is correct. They weren't gonna survive on games like this, nor should they have. Thankfully, talented people can have a spark up their ass when needed and it worked out.
