Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards Playthrough (14) Level 3-3
9You will notice that the first crystal shard of this level has been acquired, and has been replaced by a blue star. This is because I messed up the first recording of this video by forgetting to get the Rock ability for the third crystal shard. Sorry about that. But, I still show how to get the first crystal shard.
Shard # 1 - Down a hole and behind a black and green rock. The Cutter + Bomb combo will be needed to break it. The ability can be obtained in the level, but the bomb ability is with the kamikaze green fish, and precise aiming will be needed to obtain it. So, starting the level with the Cutter + Bomb ability is recommended. Immediately discard this combo and obtain the Stone + Cutter combo for shard # 3.
Shard # 2 - Defeat the mini-boss, Kapar. Make sure to stand on the left side of Kapar, because once Kapar is defeated a hole will open up on the right side, which is very easy to fall through.
Shard # 3 - When dropped into the water, there will be a green and brown wall on the left side, which, obviously, can be destroyed with a Stone + Cutter combo. However, the shard is too high up for Kirby to reach. Kirby will need to transform into Rick (the hamster) in order to climb the wall to reach the shard.
