The Stone + Bomb combination is so difficult to maintain, but you need it for the third shard.

Crystal Shard # 1: At the beginning of the level, immediately fall to the left.
Crystal Shard # 2: Go along the top path and jump at the right time while riding on the railroad track with Waddle Dee
Crystal Shard # 3: Blow up the brown and black rock. You have to carry the Stone + Bomb combo through the whole stage in order to do this.
