Kirby Super Star (SNES / US) | Playthrough p.5
Part 5 - Kirby Super Star (US ver.), "The Arena" playthroughs, with "Gourmet Race" replay with Lose results. (Super Nintendo, emulated by Snes9x)
Well, we're at the end of the year 2022, and also I'm at the very end of this shortly lasted playthroughs of Kirby Super Star on the SNES emulator.
After finishing the sixth and last game, Milky Way Wishes, of this big six games pack, Kirby Super Star, now it's time for the extra seventh game, The Arena, an boss rush mode where you fight against every last bosses across all six games in this one big pack. After clearing all six games, even if you've cleared Milky Way Wishes as your last one, The Arena will be unlocked between the two sub-games "Megaton Punch" & "Samurai Kirby" to the right.
Now for this secret seventh game mode, The Arena, you'll be facing against all bosses throughout the entire game here, but this time, some may be even tougher than before, and you only get one life per each run. Once you've lose a life, it's an automatic loss, and you'll have to start from the beginning. Think of it like an survival mode, which as long as you're lasting long enough, you'll may be able to reach the final boss soon, and became the champion of The Arena. Even after clearing The Arena, there's an secret additional option that'll appears to the left of the two mini-games, an Sound Test mode.
Then there you have it, we've finally completed the entire game at an 100% completion rates. Of course, you can still start over each certain game you've played so far, and go for an a little personal challenge, or as you just want to replay it again anytime. So what I did after clearing the Arena, I went back to do "Gourmet Race" once again, but since I've already won last time, this time, I made myself went easy on my opponent to see the losing results. (and then, that's it, I'm completely finished with this game at last...)
I may not sure if its possible at this moment soon, but I'm tempting about doing the next Kirby game either on the Gameboy, SNES, or even the N64 soon. I'm still doing some test run on the N64 emulator, so that'll won't be ready til later time, so I might do either "Kirby's Dream Land 2" on Gameboy as my next one, or just skip it to "Kirby's Dream Land 3" on SNES, before getting started on "Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards" on the N64.
