Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble (GBC, 2000) featured an accelerometer for motion control - PINK CARTRIDGE!
Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble on Gameboy Color featured a unique cartridge. Besides being bright Kirby pink, it also sported an accelerometer which detects movement. Instead of using the dpad to control Kirby in a side-scrolling platformer, players needed to physically tilt and twist the Gameboy Color to make Kirby move from a top-down perspective. Of course there are jumps, obstacles, and enemies along the way.
Today, we take motion control for granted as it is in everything including your smart phone. Back in the early 2000s though, this was pretty cool and different. The version of this game now sells for a higher dollar amount.
