1In Knack II, the story follows Knack, a small creature made of ancient relics, who has the unique ability to transform into a powerful warrior by collecting more relics. After defeating a goblin army in the first game, Knack returns to face new dangers when an ancient threat awakens. Humans, robots, and goblins are suddenly at odds again, and massive robots from a long-lost civilization emerge, threatening the world.
The game begins with Knack’s creator, Dr. Vargas, and his friends Lucas and Ryder discovering that an ancient civilization known as the "High Goblins" might be responsible for the chaos. This leads them on an adventure across vast landscapes, from cityscapes to mountainous regions, where they uncover relics and artifacts, piece together historical secrets, and ultimately try to prevent a massive war.
Throughout Knack II, players encounter a mix of combat, puzzle-solving, and platforming as Knack changes size and abilities to overcome obstacles and enemies. The story is lighthearted but emphasizes themes of teamwork, heroism, and the importance of understanding history to avoid past mistakes. The game culminates in a battle against the High Goblins, as Knack and his friends rally to save humanity from destruction.
