26Yacky is treading the boards as he takes a very early look at the narrative based game - Knee Deep.
Created by Prologue Games, Knee Deep is a narrative driven game, similar to the TellTale titles, that is heavily focused on the decisions you make, the characters you follow and watching their stories unfold. (The developers are also planning on delivering it in a similar episodic fashion.)
Set in the Florida backwater town of Cypress Knee the story opens with the discovery of a washed-up Hollywood actor is found hanging from local landmark. The game then takes on a noirish thriller angle following the exploits of a blogger, reporter and a private investigator as they all try to uncover the truth about this mysterious suicide. The game also takes on a novel approach of having the story play out in a theatre setting, complete with scene changes and stage directions.
