Knights of Valour / 三国戦紀 - PlayStation 4 - Intro & Full Hard Playthrough Part 1, World 1-1 to 1-4
8First part of a full PS4 gameplay longplay, playthrough, walkthrough & trueplay from the now removed and delisted scrolling beat'em based on the arcade game series of the same name. This first video covers Stage 1 the Marsh Battle which ends with a boss fight with Zhang Bao. Knights of Valour was an online only title that was shut down on July 6th 2020. Over the course of the next couple of weeks we will be uploading a full playhrough on hard of 1-1 to 7-4. That is the whole original game and the later two maps in the form of world six and seven. On top of videos of all the characters in action and various gameplay modes.
Most of this playthrough we will be using Guan Yu, but edits have been made to cut down online connection times and loading. Player names have also been hidden as a number of team members helped to capture the footage and ally characters use the name of players you have previously played with online.
While an excellent scrolling beat'em up the game was free to play and the grind to level up was rather slow and unfun. Prices for item in the store were far to expensive and the game seems to fail to attract a large enough fan base to keep it going. It's a real pity this wasn't an offline game with co-op play as it would have likely done far better. The game is very loosely based on the historical period of China covering the Romance of the Three Kingdoms era and the end of the Han dynasty.
