Quick video today with a short look at the North American release of Ultimate Muscle on Nintendo Gamecube. Which, sadly never reached our shores in PAL regions and is one of the many games in the Kinnikuman series, based on the 70s Manga. Known as M.U.S.C.L.E Men in the 80s and released as a small toy series. There isn't a huge amount of footage of the game so here is a showcase watch mode, 2 vs 2 match. This footage was recorded for our review of the HDMI adapter on Gamecube, but ended up on the cutting room floor so to speak and wasn't used. Captured at 480i as the game by default doesn't do 480p.

What you are looking at is a very crazy and fun wrestling game complete with cartoon graphics. There aren't a whole lot of Wrestling games on Gamecube, but this is without a doubt the best there is. Over the top characters and moves, complete with super moves make for great bouts. The game is packed with modes and secrets to keep you coming back for more.
