In this quest I enter the Kollossae's floating city of Idylla and meet the Primos, their ruler. He gives me a couple of jobs, in one I visit the sewers and in the other I accompany him to a Pteryx nest. I meet a strange man in the sewers who has a few tasks of his own. They're not logged as proper quests but they're worth doing just for fun and a trophy. Talking to the strange man reveals some interesting information too.
Before setting off for the sewers I spend some time in Idylla market talking to the traders and experimenting on the forge. I end up crafting a new pair of shoes with a +30% all damage boost, which is much better than the +10% fire, ice and lightning the Whisperskin Sandals have. The mastercrafted boots also come with 16% extra health and I add an extra 100 mana to compensate for the loss of mana buffs from the sandals. If you want to skip all that and go straight to the sewers it's 00:36:21. That's not the only damage boost I receive though because in the sewers an unassuming spider drops a great piece of loot, the best amulet in the game no less, the Medallion of the Warlord. It has +30% damage and +8% chance to crit. My old amulet had +19% damage, so it's an extra 11% damage plus a greater chance to do even more. I lose the +11% elemental resistance from the old amulet but that's no big deal.
