The 8.10 version of Linux Kodachi , codenamed “ Smooth Ride” , which is a Debian GNU /Linux based distribution, can be started via DVD or USB, has the feature of filtering all network traffic over VPN and Tor network, was announced by Warith Al maawali It is stated that the system, which is built on the 5.13.12 Linux kernel, is based on Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS. Stating that he was actually trying to migrate to Ubuntu 20.04, Al Maawali said that he preferred to stay on 18.04.5 LTS due to problems with Python.While it is stated that Kodachi is a live operating system that can be booted from DVD, USB memory or SD card on almost any computer, it is stated that it aims to protect privacy and anonymity.Al Maawali; He said that in the system that comes with the customized XFCE, e-mails and instant messaging can be encrypted using state-of-the-art cryptographic and privacy tools. Kodachi said that since the computer is a system that can be booted with a USB drive, when the system is turned off, it will not leave any traces because the system runs on volatile memory (RAM).
