Krait Phantom - Exploration Build Guide - Elite Dangerous
Greetings Commanders,
This is arguably one of the best Exploration Ships in the game!
The Asp Explorer used to be 'the go to' mid sized ship for most explorers, until the Krait Phantom came out. :)
Whilst about the same size as the Asp, the Phantom has much bigger internals and yet still slightly edges out the Asp in jump range, but this comes at a much higher price tag.
The ship has been built with no expense spared, and she will require some heavy engineering as shown in the video.
With this ship you can go anywhere in the Galaxy, and if you keep the ship repaired via the AFMU's and Limpets, you really do not need to come back to a Station for a very, very long time.
Enjoy this video and I hope this build guide will give you some pointers on how to configure a Krait Phantom for long range exploration, for the best practical fit and jump range.
O7 Commanders.
