Time for more Resident Evil 4 Remake
The Krauser boss fight continues. I knew he wouldn't go down easily or without reciting through his whole script but good grief man. I never even had a problem with the guy really or wanted a bad end for him. Other than the whole killing Luis thing, which was definitely very rude, but I admit being tempted to do it myself at times and he did make himself a ridiculously tempting target. It's like blaming lions for biting noisy tourists.
He seems to have several key parts to his dangerousness: he's very fast, he's very jumpy, he has Soul Crabular arms, the arms serve as a shield. He actually picked a relatively fair final arena for us though to his credit, it gives us both obstacles and opportunities. It mostly comes down to just trying to hit his head while not being murdered by any of the many things going on, all while on top of a tower. All the while he's praising Leon's skills interestingly, but also breaks into rants about his superior crab personness too at times. Unfortunately for him, I'm too stupid and stubborn to die (also I can reload when I goof up and get merked), so we eventually get him.
It's a sad moment and Krauser kind of just lets it happen, like he WANTS to die, and accepts that Leon won without any struggle or final digs. He tells Leon to "do what you have to do", meaning stab him, and Leon finishes it with his own knife. So we get Major Krauser's Fighting Knife and all the trauma that comes with it as we head after Ashley again. We soon spot her in the distance, moronically Assassins Creed crowd blending her way into a definitely dodgey temple type structure. Good to know Ashley is her usual self at least still under it all and now the end of the line appears to be in sight, just got to get there!
