Our next giant leap forward is to go to Minmus and also to rescue Jebediah. Because we don't leave people behind. Unless it's too difficult to rescue them, in which case to hell with them. ;)
First however, we want some tech breakthroughs to help make our rocket design easier, specifically fuel lines which we don't have yet. Therefore we need to go back to the Munar orbit and do more science.
It's dull and tedious and nerdy, so feel free to ignore the poor scientists spending their boring lives to make your life more convenient.
They'll do all the hard work for you so you can continue to have your USB back shavers. They'll cover the brainy stuff so that you can continue to steal their wives and girlfriends and have lots of children with high reproductive rates and low intelligence, eventually resulting in a human race so devolved that they start shaving their hairy backsides by gripping the razor in their own prehensile tails.
Don't worry. The scientists have you covered.
