The EO-2 FANBOI is an AI-piloted stand-alone booster stage that can be used and reused to taxi and push other vessels into better places. Various tests have shown that the FANBOI is more than capable of interplanetary taxi duties.

In this mission, the FANBOI simply needed to dock with the TL-O Tylo Orbiter that is already parked in Kerbin orbit. The onboard AI decided that it had no need to waste RCS monopropellant during a simple rendezvous and docking procedure. It performed flawlessly!
