KSP used to be frustrating when it came down to aircraft design and flying. Well, FAR and Procedural wings (and 0.21) have changed that a lot. The ability to create the wing shapes you want, mixed with realistic flight, control surface setups and close to real work aerodynamics make a huge difference. But of course make things a lot more complicated too, if you don't know anything about aircraft design.

So here you can see the whole design process I follow. From deciding the goal before actually building the plane, to the actual test flying to fine tune the control setup settings with FAR's Flight Assistance System. In less than 20 minutes (beat that!)

Hope that after seeing this video (and unloading the relevant mods which I list below), you can buld your own planes and have fun with them!!!

Vital mods (not all I have installed, but the barebones you need to design a plane this way):

-Ferram Aerospace Research (FAR)
-Procedural Wings

All the rest I have are just optional and are there to give me more control surfaces, plane parts, engines, etc, to have a wider selection to choose.
