KV-2 Tank Miniature
This is my first scale miniature of a tank using a CNC milling machine: a Russian KV-2. I’ve done a simplified 3D model from scratch and prepared all the necessary parts to be milled. The milling took about two hours and the final process was to sand and assemble the tank. It has a turret that can rotate 360 degrees using a magnet system.
This method allows the object to be mass-produced, so this miniature can be done again and again with the same quality – the method might also be applied to other tank models: I’m available for offers and orders. The 1:50 scale might be unusual, but as an Architect I’m used to regular scales.
