Ky GGXX AC+R advanced dust tactics part 6... Unblockables read info
I believe this is part 4? or maybe 5 In a series ive done showing what exactly is possible with kys air dust change in +R version of the game. If there is any confusion best to read this info and watch the other videos in the series.
So basically trying to push the game as far as it can go, and show what is possible. Hopefully it should be at least sorta obvious what im trying to show, I picked sol since he has a DP to go through stuff, and a fast stand kick to show just how tight some of these strings are. Although they look like they have a lot of holes, the holes are actually very small if existing at all. This uses what I show in other videos mainly the fact that it is now possible in this game to do a jump dust, recover in time to do a falling jab, which hits before the dust, you cancel to big fireball, then dust hits, allowing this to all combo now and force the opponent for the most part to eat this. Assuming you time it right, which albeit this does take some very fast fingers to time correctly. There are some holes and ways to escape of course, but you have counters to them, and its to show its possible. Theoretically although not particularly humanly possible assuming you made all your attacks throw invincible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFju1GrJxpQ you could make the air throw counter also irrelevant but realistically this is leaving the bounds of what is humanly possible to do this for every attack.
This video also shows besides the dust, lp, trick .. is it explores just how tight is just a big fireball in the air to another jump dust.. And as you can see, its VERY tight if you time it as fast as possible. And Actually a true combo period at certain ranges if done fast enough. Whats more although not shown we could also counter attacks with falling attacks here as well. But again trying to show the basic ideas to play with ..
Last for a air dust change I show how a blocked jump dust, to a jump attack does not offer a true inescapable high low mix up before. But now in AC+R it is, so the idea here is technically assuming we are in range, we never HAVE to waste a FRC for these mix ups.
So how many times could you do this? Well realistically in a match you can get a loop of it of course once no doubt that is inescapable.. but past that once you get to the third big blue fireball it is possible although again tighter than it seems, to escape of course.. so were in mix up territory... after that the fourth one most likely you have now traveled farther back so no dice.. Although if the opponent were to have blocked some of these big fireballs ducking, thus hitting later and giving you a bigger advantage you could go farther.
Last a thing I talked about many many years ago bored recently I decided to figure out why exactly kys jump dust can be unblockable. I never had a video showing it before so I decided to make one. And here it is.. Doing a jump dust and placing it "behind" the opponent while then having a attack come out in front of the game, has the possibilities to confuse it, forcing the opponent out of block and to take the hit.(at least thats what im guessing)The caviet being if they had tried to switch their blocking stance while in proximity blocking.
Whatever the case as to why exactly it works or what is causing it is probably irrelevant for the most part though, since it requires the opponent to be switch stances, so its a bit flukey to say the least and situational. Id say its more so interesting in terms of if you were playing and you were like "I know I blocked that" and got hit. Besides other obvious reasons like dust recovery that you have not fullfilled or overridden yet.. This could possible be a case in that this could happen to you.
I think I got one more video in mind I could do showing some other fun set ups that are possible but for now taking a break again. Here are some links to the other videos if any confusion and showing other things that are actually possible.
