Silly idea I had of attempting to convert L4D2 into an L4D1 experience, and as you can see I didn't do too bad. (I was too lazy to remove beta mods :P)
Yes... I know there's an L4D1 co-op mutation but that's not the point, I attempted to recreate L4D1 purely using server plugins, cvars and scripts, and I got pretty damn close I think lol. There isn't a good plugin to remove L4D2 guns/equipment so they did tend to show up, the chargers were merely forced spawns (Yes the L4D2 campaigns have some forced special spawns which is why you may see two of the same special infected despite that not being possible on this game under normal circumstances, however it did happen in the first game)
I did manage to delete melee weapons completely so that's a big aspect of the game gone.
If you want the nitty gritty here's what else was changed:
L4D1 specific cvars (shittier bots, more ammo in all guns, sitting witches, L4D1 population, unlimited shove, no boomettes)
The buggy, but iconic L4D1 talker (i.e WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIN' FRANCIS?)
Survivor ragdolls
Survivor legs
Tank kills downed teammates (although it didn't seem to work for me :/)
Bots can trigger car alarms
Turnrate increased by a lot
Friendly fire whilst incapped (I use a buggy plugin, allows bots to friendly fire lol)
L4D1 survivors only
Hunter pounce allignment fix (no laggy pounce or multiple shoves required)
L4D1 specials unless forced
Smoker drags survivors off of ledges
