I've been to quite a few crazy places so far on my many travels throughout the wasteland.

Vault 15, my first point of interest marked on my map, the first bread crumb that will hopefully lead me to the Water Chip.
I assume the Vault once acted as intended, to protect the contents against and and all who may try to infiltrate, but that time has come to pass.
The vault door was ripper straight off the mechanism, and its insides became infested with rodents, both large and small, yet equally dangerous.

Junktown, my first major settlement discovered after the small outpost that is Shady Sands.
The town was wildly out of control, with the only law enforcer stuck handling the inner working of the general store in addition to defending his town.
When the owner of the town's casino, Gizmo, asked me to kindly remove the overworked sheriff from his place is history, I refused, and removed Gizmo from the picture entirely.

The Hub, a massive city, certainly the largest I have ever seen, and perhaps the largest city in the wasteland.
Danger and crime were around every corner, and there was s\no safe haven.
Within the walls were a series of evil people wielding operations of mass misfortune and destruction.
Outside the wall was a beast, an impossibly powerful monster whose might knew neither restraint nor taboo.

Necropolis, the city of darkness, with streets infested with the undead.
By far the most dangerous location I've yet to travel, the city was no safe haven, nor was there any place to rest.
The city was full of feral ghouls and mutants, unforgiving beasts and the very culmination of horror itself.
Below ground was a series of underground tunnels, infested with pests, it was the only place the innocent may retreat, fearful o their fate were they to leave the cover of darkness.

But today, we're going somewhere that isn't like anywhere we've gone before...
Somewhere more dangerous than Necropolis, and more complicated than The Hub... L.A.
