After about 6 episodes of Doki Doki Literature Club, I believe I have finally decided which of the characters is the best.
Now this was a hard decision, they're all completely separate and unique individuals who are all very relatable and fun to be around, this choice was completely down to the wire and... nah it was clearly Natsuki.

Now to be completely serious, all jokes aside, I honestly really like all of the characters... well, except the MC-

I joke a lot on Monika but she's honestly pretty fun because she can break the fourth wall and is very mysterious, makes things interesting an unexpected.
It's also nice to have someone be like, kinda realistically always happy, well at least until you make a pun about her name... side note, I still have no idea what "Load Me" means but it's funny to think about its absurdity.

Sayori is also another character that's fun to follow in what she's doing.
She's not really as secretive as Monika, but judging by her behavior as of resent, I feel like she's actually going to have a good character arc.
While sadly I doubt it will follow along with how rude and unfriendly my character is to her, I'm excited to see where the game goes with her character.

Yuri does actually kinda freak me out, but not really in a scary way, more so just a way that makes me worry for her.
I do kinda feel guilty for not spending as much time with as I felt I could have.
There's something to worry about with every character... especially when they share the vicinity with mine

With all that being said however... I believe that Natsuki is absolutely the best character in the game, like, by far.
To start, she's the most comfortable character to be around, well, until something awful like what my guy did last time happened happens... but other than that it's all fine.
Monika kinda scares me because there's a lot of stuff off with her, I can't exactly predict Yuri and her unpredictability kinda makes me worried, and as for Sayori, it's once again the fault of my character why every scene with her is uncomfortable.
Natsuki just wants to do what she wants, isn't affected by anything like the other three, and there's something about that confidence and humanity that makes her just like, not bad to have scenes with.

There's like 30 other things I could say but I'm not going to because that's boarding on some kind of unnerving behavior of my own so for the sake of myself I'll just leave it with this.
She's cool and fun and that's all that's kinda all that really matters in the end.
