La La Land film review: Worst Oscar film 2016!

The first film review on youtube. I have been writing film reviews for quite some time now since that is more my thing. But I want to expand on that by doing video reviews like this. So please give this a thumbs up or leave a comment.
I do think I have been very fair as this film is advertised as one of the greatest musicals / films in a long time. And this simply is not true. Even with all the good will this film has no redeeming elements whatsoever. And something I didn't want to address in the video itself but keep hearing as an argument in favour of the leads. That they are supposed to be just normal people inexperienced dancers and singers and that is what should make it more appealing and fun. I call BS on that since that would mean that Ryan Gosling's character is a terrible pianist as well. Wasn't he a jazz elitist chastising others for destroying jazz? If there is one character who is murdering jazz it's him. (Do note that I appreciate the fact that he has learned to play the piano for the film. That is an accomplishment. However he clearly is not good enough). Besides that whole argument is one big excuse for Ryan and Emma not being competent enough. But let's say I buy the argument. Then what would be the point? Musicals like these are fun because you see these people do things most of us can't do well. Why would I enjoy watching people stumbling and mumbling? That doesn't make any sense. The musical numbers should have been the highlights of the film and they weren't since they were lacking power and energy. To what extent I have demonstrated in the video.
BTW If you haven't watched this film yet and you are trying to make up your mind of which Oscar nominated (2017) are worth your time. Then here are some real worthy films:
