3First off, I want to thank both RadCroc and Gamebound, who's channel I am a guest on sometimes, for providing me with a key for this game. This isn't sponsored content, but I want to express my gratitude for helping me share the game all the same.
So what's my first impressions? I'm getting some serious Ninja Gaiden 'Nam flashbacks, but that's not a bad thing. As Lament is taking an obvious graphical inspiration from classic NES titles like Gaiden and Castlevania, that infamous knockback is back too. So, you can't spam attacks and everything has to be a bit more careful and deliberate. Like the kids say nowadays 'something something Dark Souls.'
