First off, I want to thank both RadCroc and Gamebound, who's channel I am a guest on sometimes, for providing me with a key for this game. This isn't sponsored content, but I want to express my gratitude for helping me share the game all the same.

Alright, that looks to be the end of Lament. What did I think? Overall, I enjoyed it, although I can say this game might not be for everyone. This sort of game was made from all the classic games that boiled your blood for one reason or another, but this sort of stuff falls just in line with my reptile brain. I know some control and physics aspects of Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania have inspired many AGVN nights, but I've come to really enjoy those games on a whole, not just nitpick the parts most enjoyable. Lament is like that, taking the core mechanics of super hard platformers from the past and adding a new spin. I even felt a bit of Mega Man in there, with each level giving you a new ability, but midway through the stage, which added it's own interest to it all too.

That ending though! Did I get the bad one? Did I forget something? I beat who appeared to be the final boss, but then it looked like I was too late or discovered something horrific. Was it the smithy or creator of the sword? I'm not sure, it was rather quick, but the werewolf character was not happy about it and the lamenting continues I suppose. If you got a different ending, let me know!
