Langrisser M | Chasing Sokai's Rainbow (9 turn clear, King of Terror: Doakudar challenge)
25I am sure you have already seen some of the ways to clear this tough challenge using Sigma or Young Jessica to cheese it. However, since I don't have neither of those heroes built, I had to find a way to do it with some old school heroes. I was able to find a way from a Langrisser M content creator called "Langrisser" (go figures) and I want to share the strategy with you.
In order to use this strategy, there are a few specific things you will need. If you don't have it, I highly recommend getting the buffs from the event that gives you the +1 movement and the +ATK/INT one.
Team Composition:
Ledin (tank, need movement boots)
Sword Elwin (main DPS, Apex boots)
Yulia (more DPS, some healing)
Leon (some DPS and debuffs, Smash to hit dragon away)
Liana (Act Again, Summon Angel)
Tiaris (Miracle, Attack Blessing, use Jugler Plushie if you have)
Fight Mechanics:
The boss will start with 5 Magic Crystals (MC) and will consume a MC every time he takes a hit and reduce damage taken by 50%. He will gain a MC for every hero he hits.
NOTE: I finally figured out why he Act Again multiple times. Basically, he can use one of the Skills below if it is off of cooldown. However, there is a Passive Component to it that if he has enough MCs, he will use the Passive part of the skill and looks like it is an Act Again but it is just really him using the Passive. So when he does not have enough MC, he will do nothing. However, as you bring him below the 60%, 40%, and 20% threshold, the Passive part of it will take effect since it there is no MC requirement and that is why towards the end of the fight, he is able to do multiple moves which makes it appear as he is using Act Again. So confusing!!!!
Skills:
Dragon Lord: Summon a Shadow Dragon (requires 2 MC, but when below 60% requires 0 MC)
Darkfire Storm: AoE 2 RINGs and if you get hit twice in a row will get a heal block (requires 3 MC, but when below 40% requires 0 MC)
Magic Path: Hits a single target and will put ground effect that requires 2 movement to move over it plus powers up the Shadow Dragon (requires 2 MC, but when below 20% requires 0 MC)

03:54 Round 1: Positioning is key. Start of the fight you MUST have the ability for Ledin to 3c and pull him closer. Hit him at least 4 times to reduce MC to less than 2 so he can't summon the Shadow Dragon. This round, he may AoE or do his Ground Single Target. You want him to do the AoE attack in order to use this guide.
05:50 Round 2: Hit him with the weaker units (4 times) until you remove all MCs. Then hit with stronger DPS to do full damage.
07:42 Round 3: Hit him with the weaker units (1 times) until you remove all MCs. Keep on hitting him but save your strong skills and attack blessing for later. For some odd reason, he does not attack at all.
09:18 Round 4: Hit him until he gets to about 65% or 66%. Elwin will FB as the second to last and Tiaris Miracle at the end. You want Ledin to counter attack him to get as close to 60% as possible this round.
11:09 Round 5: Hit him with the weaker units (1 times) until you remove all MCs. Attack Blessing on Elwin. Act Again Elwin this turn as well. You want him to be around 43% to 45% by the end of this round. As close to 40% as possible.
12:43 Round 6: Push the Shadow Dragon up with Leon using Smash. Pull the boss down with Ledin using 3c.
14:32: Round 7: Boss will have around 6 MCs. Move Leon back down. Heal up and hit the boss as hard as possible the position is key here. You want to make sure Elwin is on the right side of the boss and the only open space surrounding the boss that is Open is at the bottom left hand corner. When the boss summons the Shadow Dragon to him, the dragon will attack the Ledin. If not, the Shadow Dragon may kill Elwin and its game over. FB with Elwin last at the end of your turns. If your Ledin is not strong enough (like mine), he may die. Even if Ledin dies, if your Elwin is strong enough, you can finish the fight.
16:28 Round 8: Boss will have 2 MCs. Smash to debuff -DEF with Leon and weak DPS first. Attack Blessing on Elwin. Act Again on Elwin. Boss will attack Elwin twice (your counter attack should do nice damage) Boss should be around 8% to 10% end of this round. If not, you are most likely too weak.
18:18 Round 9: LAST ROUND. Boss will have 6 MCs and you can't get rid of all of them. If you don't kill him this round, you it is game over. First thing, Miracle with Tiaris and go all out attack. Boss will hit Elwin during enemy phase and you should get the kill. Good luck!
