The cup race didn’t go as planned for some, but I was one of the few who got away from the wreck unscathed.
Unfortunately, I got nabbed for two black flag penalties, which got me down the running order at the end. Oh well, that’s racing, and I learned something today about those penalties, including not passing a car under yellow and not touching any part of the car on the exit line of pit road.
In the Xfinity race, I got involved in an accident but almost got a top 10 out of it with a wounded car.
In the Draft Masters race at Dega, I led three laps, got wrecked from the lead, and still got a 4th place finish out of it.
Otherwise, it was a learning experience for me.
