OK, so I've told you before that I'm bad at driving horses, but I'll tell you again (and you'll see it here): I'm extremely bad at driving horses. I try to steer vehicles the same way I steer my person, but apparently they don't work that way. So that is unfortunate. It's such an incredibly cool cinematic sequence with the horse combat, but it was so frustrating to me because it assumed I had a skill set and knowledge that I did not have! But I'll practice driving my horse a little more so in case it happens again, I can have the experience I'm supposed to have.

(Let this be a lesson if you design games — be very careful about assuming what knowledge your player does or doesn't have. In this case, better horseback lessons earlier on would have allowed me to fully enjoy what is probably the coolest experience I've seen in the game so far.)

I do really like this game, and most Zelda games have some sequence that really frustrates me. I don't like being the kind of player who gets frustrated, and I try not to be, but this section really did get the better of me.

Which is a shame because it's so cool and I love the development of Colin and I'm definitely invested in these characters already!! Ahhhhhh. And now we have Gorons and sumo and more adventures to look forward to (in two weeks' time, remember)! -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/laurentheflute
