So my friend Danny is a composer and a trombonist, and he is brilliant. One day he said to me "You know, flute and brass have a lot in common." And I was like "Really?" and he was like "Yes!" and then we played around with some flute and trombone silliness and it was fun.

Flash forward to Materia Collective's album EIDOLON, which was all about collaborating, and I was like "Danny! Let's do a thing with flute and brass because flute and brass have things in common!" and he said "Sure!" and here is the end result.

Danny did all the hard work; he did the arranging, whereas all I did was be like "hey, wouldn't it be funny if it went in a minor key?" or "I think the flutes should play the doodley-doodley part" or "can the piccolo be really obnoxious at this point?" (Spoiler: yes, it can; the answer to that question is always yes.)

So then Danny pulled together the rest of the GameBrass, and I called on my usual flute army, and we made this happen, and long story short I hope you enjoy it! Danny is a million times more brilliant than I am and he is my composition mentor in addition to being my friend. You should support him ♥♥♥
