Notice how LDD Extended was broken? Here's how to fix it. It isn't a complete fix as much as I'd like it to be but a simple fix is to switch modes to the normal LDD and use that from now on, or, switch to that mode, get whatever color you need in a random piece, put in in the work area, switch back to LDD Extended, then use the color picker tool to select that color and start painting each brick, brick by brick. It's a pain in the arse and something I hate doing but it's what happens when you want a certain color and LDD Extended fails you miserably.
