LESSON: Tips On How To learn Anything
Students at the biggest and most important universities in the world seem to have no problem with understanding complex topics. So what are their secrets. A group of researchers recently posted a list of habits that put the best in a class of their own.
So let's look at what sets them apart from everybody else:
1. Choose classes that interest you
2. Study less but study harder
3. Never work on auto-pilot ... be directional
4. Vague is a waste of everybody's time
5. Write down everything in pen
6. Get it done at all costs
7. Always show up
8. Get out of the library and in to the field
9. Do a little everyday but not all day
10. Nothing exists without incentive
11. Fuck the phone
12. Do your own work
13. Read a lot and extensively
14. Look for logic
15. Settle for quality over quantity
As usual, it all sounds so simple. Perhaps it is. Don't you ever have the feeling that we make things difficult for ourselves.
If you cover the basics then the rest will cover themselves. Remember to eat, sleep and breathe and master the rules of life but do not let the rules become your master. Surround yourself with the right people and slowly everything will fall into place.
There is a natural order to things.
Think about it.
