About the Delete Anchor Point Tool
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Delete Anchor Point Tool is used for further changes and corrections to the path you have created with the Pen Tool. Since it is merely an extension of the Pen Tool, it is important that you master the Pen Tool first. When you know exactly how to use them both, you will gain a lot of creative control over your images.
Using the Delete Anchor Point Tool
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. To access this feature, click on the pen icon in the
Tool bar (leftmost side of your screen). This will prompt a new menu window with various pen tools.
2. Choose Delete Anchor Point Tool (second from bottom). For this tool to work, you need to have a previously-created path.
3. Click on the path to activate the points, then click on one of the points to delete it. One thing to note is that this tool can be accessed very easily with a simple keyboard shortcut: when you have the Pen Tool activated, press and hold the Control/Command key + a mouse click on one of the points. This will also delete the points but without having to open up the Delete Anchor Point Tool.
