Ever want an honest opinion... asked wife, "what does this look like one the ground..."
She said junk... leaves are more brown.
I tweaked the colors some.
This is baked from a photo scan of leaves outside.
Was 300,000 polys
Around 1k with a 200 poly lod now.
I had to place about 20 in this scene. I should have made it slightly in a hump shape to make it easier to place and not see a lip, next time maybe. Or have a few on the edges to act as a gradient so is not a rug shape.
Ever want to see a 128mb leaf extract the zip into a folder in your levels art folder. Import through the asset browser from that folder. Materials.cs will handle the texture for you.
Could convert the pngs to dds and would be less than 128 megs.
Honestly, they are not great, not the best photogrammetry I seen, but maybe its something to cover that bald spot on a map where just don't know what else to put down when terrain paint is not cutting it.
