You can use the Minigun and the Heavy Machine Gun to launch yourself to a direction.
To do this, you have to hold your jump key and use and dismount quickly. In short, using default commands, hold down SPACEBAR and press E twice on the mounted gun. If you were on the left side of the gun it will launch you towards the right and vice versa.
