Left Out In The Cold | Icetwine (Ice-Age City Builder & Crafting Game)
224Icetwine is an ice-age city builder game where everything is based around the concept of combining items to make new things.
We begin with one single person, a little ice-age individual just hanging around, so immediately we tell them to go and punch things. They punch trees! They punch rocks! They punch berry bushes! And as they do so they begin to produce resources, such as wood, stone and berries.
If we then combine the person with a bit of wood they refine it into a plank. If we combine the person with some planks and stone they make a campfire, whereas a different amount of planks and stone will make a house, or a stone factory, or a wood factory.
We can also sacrifice items to the magic volcano in exchange for coins, which we can then use to be rewarded with random items, some of which are more useful than others.
As time goes by we end up with domesticated mammoths and dodos, we learn how to cook meat, we smelt iron ore into iron ingots, we even make a big chunky sword!
