Hey everyone, watching here. I wanted to give you an update regarding the fanfic reads on the channel and why I’ve decided to reupload some of them to the second channel.

As you may have noticed, a lot of the fanfic reads have been removed from the main channel. This wasn’t an accident—it was a conscious decision made after a lot of thought. When "The Anime Sage" first started doing fanfic reads, the goal was always to promote the authors and share the stories that meant a lot to the Sage. Over time, though, Sage realized that some of the fanfic reading videos were being misunderstood. People started mistaking them for "what if" videos, and even worse, other channels did swipe and retitled as what-ifs by others. This felt wrong, especially since Sage hadn’t always gotten explicit permission from the authors. While with good intentions Sage didn't want to risk causing harm or confusion.

So, in the past Sage made the difficult decision to take most of those videos down. Even though Sage made sure to link the authors in the description and assure the audience all that Sage would never retitle the author's works as something they weren’t. But even with the best intentions, Sage realized that "The Anime Sage Channel" haven’t always done enough to ensure it had the right permissions. And for that, "The Anime Sage" truly apologized to the authors I’ve affected.

Now, after "The Anime Sage" 's departure, I have decided to reupload these videos to the second channel. This will give me the chance to share these amazing fics without stepping over any boundaries with new standards and practices. I also want to be clear that none of these videos will be monetized (EVER), and if any of the authors request that their work be removed, I will take it down immediately, no questions asked. Some videos do have claims due to music copyright as I no longer have the licenses "The Anime Sage" had with Epidemic sounds. That said on those videos you will see ads but let me assure you none of that money is going to me.

I appreciate your understanding as I work through this, and thank you for supporting the channel in the past and now. Moving forward, I’m committed to doing things the right way, ensuring the authors get the recognition they deserve. As of now I have no intents to do more fanfic reading content like this as anymore. I more reuploaded this for fans who enjoyed back when "The Anime Sage" read them for the channel. Thank you for your patience and for sticking with me!
