Still bummed to this day.
As usual, this is segmented and edited. I'm using the Vulkan renderer. This seems to cause textures to blur at distance but I'm actually not sure if this was something the PS2 actually did and the other rendering methods just don't emulate the behavior. It's been quite some time since I've played a PS2 game on the real thing.
Notes
Movement is based on camera position. Due to the sudden and intense changes in its position, this leads to frequent wonky movement.
Raziel is unable to do high jumps in this game. He also cannot use telekinesis to grab enemies until late into the game.
Telekinesis bursts do damage. The hammer wielding enemies have hyper armor and it can be broken by spamming telekinesis on them.
There are some areas that just hammer the emulator or the Vulkan renderer and no alterations to settings would change this. Or even make it worse, actually.
Running the game at x8 resolution is the same as running it at x4.
Of all the annoying jumps and sections in Vorador's Mansion I, I screwed up the one in the sewer area. There's a segment there as I didn't want to redo 30 minutes of the level.
I had to disable the music during the confrontation at Avernus and again during the boss fight at Vampire Citadel III due to copyright issues. Sorry.
