A game I did not know existed. This playthrough has been edited to remove pretty much everything that isn't story related. Grinding, excessive travel, dungeon crawling, vendor time, menu usage and so on. This video is not meant to be a walkthrough or guide. It's aimed at people who want the story in full without having to deal with everything else or watch someone deal with everything else.

All mandatory battles are shown, except for 6 of the 10 forced encounters in Hunter's Wood at the beginning. It's just the same ant group repeated. I also made the decision to not include the first 7 arena matches. I won each match in a single turn and you fight reskinned random encounter monsters. Only the last two matches were important.

Unlike Legend of Legaia, there are a ton of optional scenes and dialogue with your party members. These are largely slice of life types of things and thus inconsequential. Many npcs, if not entire towns can have different dialogue as you progress through the game as well. An example is that every time you get a new party member, you can go back to Nohl for extra dialogue with pretty much everyone there. Even the shopkeepers. It's a great effort but I won't be showing them. The goal was not to be exhaustive in detail.

PS2 emulation is not as solved as PS1 emulation is, so there are a number of issues present. Some examples: The battle transition sometimes doesn't work correctly. Junk around text (offsetting textures by X 0 Y 200 fixes most of this) and very rarely textures would not load correctly after a battle, forcing me to reset. This happened just two times. I also experienced some sound issues during the cutscene with Reym and Drokonia and had to reset the sound plugin during the recording to spare you some ear pain. There was no way to avoid this. I did my best to make the edits as smooth as they could be.

This game has some pretty wild power scaling and difficultly spikes. Most of the late game bosses get absolutely destroyed. The final boss is a joke.
