Part 1 of my Legend of Grimrock playthrough.

Heyo! Dropped off the planet for a while. Again. Was getting bored, so why not pick up this channel (again) to spice up my white bread and mayonnaise life? Consider this the American cheese, oooooooh!

So, Grimrock. I had these videos done and recorded EONS ago, but I never uploaded them. Why? I dunno. Laziness is the answer. But the game is a dungeon-crawling adventure released about a decade ago from this video's upload time. I dunno exactly how I came across it, but it looked interesting enough and I thought I'd give it a try.

Lot of fun and great puzzle elements, especially in a style of game such as this! They really did go out of their way to make sure the puzzle aspect was top-notch and really thinking outside of the box! The whole adventure would probably make for a great D&D campaign as well.

And yeah, I did customize my characters a bit in this. Left myself as a default avatar, but the rest of the characters are as follows:

You should know Rockford, the Riolu that is pretty much my channel's mascot! Got the Kirby Beam ability jester hat on, so I made him a mage who specializes in lightning magic.

Jepewdal is a completely original character of mine that some day, I hope to make into his own indie game! Knock on wood for that one because I have no idea where to even start. But he's an itty-bitty baby elephant with a trunk much too large. He's small, but strong! And what does the name mean? Nothing. It is gibberish. Long story short, came to me in a dream, along with the name.

And lastly, Muds-Water. Just an OC from Elder Scrolls, he's an Argonian assassin. A Shadowscale, to be precise. He's got a ton of detail to him, but this is about Grimlock, not my personal fanfics, so I'll letcha just get to it.

Gonna try to get regular-ish updates going again and try to throw in some more classics that I haven't touched on for some reason, like Super Mario World. Also wanna revisit Kirby Super Star (SNES) and update that, along with some newer titles like Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Tunic. So stay tuned, let's see how long it takes before I burn out again, whee!
