What a twist! Who would have known that Twana the spirit that has been traveling with me for most of the adventure turned out to be the White lion. Hense the title, the "Ghost lion" haha. I get it now. So, the whole game was a set of trials created by this wizard. Interesting. Well, all's well that ends well. That was a shorter rpg then most NES rpgs on the market but one that I am happy I accomplished. The mechanics of the battle system sort of got tedious towards the end because it relies on the same old tactics again and again. Don't know if I could have handle that if this game were anywhere from like 20-30 hrs like most nes rpgs lol. Thankfully it was just the right size to be interesting without wearing on me too much. One thing I will always admire about these old NES classics, is there may not me a lot of dense story and dialogue, but the endings are always interesting and surprising, so the payoff is worth it.


Well, I am going to get started soon on another RPG. I have not decided exactly which one it will be but probably one a bit longer this time around and maybe something with a bit more narrative depth and world building. Will see. There is one particular game on the NES I been wanting to play for a while called Lagrange Point. Well, more about that later, anyways until next time.
